EMK Musical Company about whether JS will participate in the musical “Mozart!” that will start in May.
Junsu is favorably considering joining “Mozart!”. A discussion is underway about the casting for “Mozart!” between EMK and Junsu.
They are favorably considering it and finetuning it with JYJ’s schedules in mind.

[TRANS] DNBN Official Announcement: Rebuttal on the False Rumors and Arguments Regarding the Cancellation of JYJ’s Indonesia Concert
The below is the translation of the official announcement that DNBN made regarding the situation in Indonesia. JYJ3 echoes DNBN in expressing our sincere sadness at the pains that the Indonesian fans have suffered due to the actions of its concert promoter.
Rebuttal on the False Rumors and Arguments Regarding the Cancellation of JYJ’s Indonesia Concert
Hello. This is DNBN.
Rumors with low credibility regarding JYJ’s World Tour Indonesia Concert’s cancellation.
We have come to draft this rebuttal in order to give you credible information after confirming the truths and reliability of the (below) materials regarding the cancellation of the concert.
Yesterday C-JeS announced that JYJ’s concert in Indonesia was officially cancelled. Fans of Indonesia, we cannot imagine how distraught you are. We express our sincerest condolences.
Unfortunately, right now, false rumors that blame a particular member for the cancellation is spreading in the international fandom. Because this rumor is being spread unilaterally by one side, we want to provide the other side so that you have more complete information.
This writing is not to argue that the cancellation is the fault of one side or to criticize the other.
Only, we wish that through this writing there will be no one who will believe that the rumors that are currently spreading are the truths.
Dream Catcher Indonesia (hereafter DCI) is the “official promoter” of JYJ Concert in Indonesia. DCI has never successfully hosted an event (previously it had worked with CN Blue and FT Island but ended up cancelling). The owner of DCI is a person named A.W. Ardiati. In press releases and other materials, it is shown that a person named Tita Ardiati is DCI’s President (see here). Tita Ardiati is also an administrator of the Indonesian TVXQ (not JYJ—they are “OT5”, i.e., supports only TVXQ5) Fanclub “Cassination.” In Indonesia, an “official fan club” is typically chosen to facilitate ticket sales. Unsurprisingly, Cassination was selected as the “official fan club.” However, DCI has long shown signs of instability—for instance, its CEO resigned last Friday.
Many of DCI’s actions regarding the concert preparation cannot be excused.
(1) DCI FAILED TO ADEQUATELY PRMOTE JYJ IN INDONESIA.
(a) It did absolutely zero promotion via TV or billboards, which are the traditional methods of promotion for concerts in Indonesia in which a substantial portion of the population does not have access to the internet.
(b) Even print promotions through the newspapers and magazines were extremely sparse (Short informational feature in the magazine IndoWorld and newspaper Pandeira were largely the entirety of this).
(c) In fact, even as late as March 22nd, DCI admits on its Twitter that it has not started its promotional activities. (See here)
(2) DCI HAS LIED MULTIPLE TIMES TO MULTIPLE PARTIES ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS IN ITS HANDLING OF THE CONCERT.
(a) THE CONCERT TICKETS.
– DCI sold the concert tickets in three different ways up to the day before the cancellation without having first obtained the consent and authorization from C-JeS. (See here)
– DCI has misrepresented to the press and the public about the tickets selling out when they have not, multiple times, causing serious confusion to and hindering fans and potential buyers. In fact, there was much anxiety in the Indonesian fandom about just how well the tickets were selling because there was no accurate information.
(b) THE CAUSE OF THE CONCERT’S CANCELLATION
a. JAEJOONG: TITA ARDIATI, THE PRESIDENT OF DCI AND THE ADMIN OF CASSINATION, AND MANY OF HER CLOSE ASSOCIATES PUBLICLY SLANDERED JYJ MEMBER JAEJOONG WITH FALSE ALLEGATIONS. (For some examples out of many, see Tita Ardiati’s twitter at here)
– Any allegations that Jaejoong personally has anything to do with Indonesia’s cancellation are obvious lies. In fact, Jaejoong has never even set foot in Indonesia.
– The nature of the allegations was extremely defamatory towards Jaejoong and calculated to inflame the public opinion of Indonesian fans against Jaejoong.
– Nonetheless, because these false allegations were made by such powerful figures in the Indonesian JYJ fandom, they are spreading like wildfire and are seriously hurting Jaejoong’s reputation in Indonesia and causing much anguish to his fans.
b. PRESS RELEASE: DCI AND ITS PRESIDENT TITA ARDIATI RELEASED AN OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE THAT STATED THAT THE CONCERT WAS CANCELLED BECAUSE C-JES MADE ADDITIONAL HIGH-COST REQUESTS (see Press Release at here).
– Tita Ardiati and her associates lost all credibility when they slandered and spread harmful rumors that hurt Jaejoong, who has nothing to do with the cancellation. All of their statements, therefore, warrant close scrutiny and suspicion as to their truth.
– The press release is misleading and false in other ways. For instance, it states that DCI “worked hard to fulfill all that is needed for this concert” when, by their own admission, there were seriously inadequate promotions and many lies to the press and the fans about ticket sales.
– The press release is also contrary to the announcement made by C-JeS which said that DCI’s repeated failure to abide by contract terms and its inability to smoothly carry out the concert are what led to the cancellation.
(3) DCI’S DESIGNATED OFFICIAL FANCLUB CASSINATION WAS AN INAPPRORPIATE CHOICE FOR A JYJ-CONCERT. IT IS “OT5,” I.E., SUPPORTS ONLY TVXQ5, AND HAS SOLICITED FOR AND PLANNED FOR “YUNJAE” EVENTS FOR THE JYJ CONCERT.
(a) Through their Tweeter and Forum, Cassination has repeatedly and explicitly condoned and encouraged fans to do activities that are disrespectful to a JYJ Concert, such as shouting names of people who are not part of JYJ. In fact, there is evidence that Cassination was making a Yunjae Banner to bring to the JYJ Concert and had plans to stage a high-profile Yunjae event. (See here)
(b) This shows a serious disregard for the respect owed to Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu as people and artists.
We believe that C-JeS gravely erred in not monitoring Indonesia closely earlier. It is our sincerest hope that C-JeS will pull its weight on organizing these tours which are momentous occasions for fans. Nonetheless, the above events cannot be excused. Again, we express our sorrow at the events that took place in Indonesia—we believe that DCI wronged not just JYJ but also their fans in Indonesia.
Once again, we wish to express how saddened we are for fans who endured great suffering due to DCI’s above actions.

Kapanlagi.com- C-Jes Entertainment, JYJ’s management agency, officially cancelled the concert which will be held in Sentul on April 9th 2011. There are no official confirmation from Dreamcatcher Indonesia (DCI), as the promoter and it makes the fans furious.
The information from a fan with initial PA via phone with Kapanlagi.com, Monday (28/03), who had purchased the ticket, pointed out that DCI’s management was not professional enough in manage the concert tickets. After PA transferred an amount of money to DCI’s bank account, yet still wait for quite some time, the promoter only confirmed through an email as if it’s a personal email.
The problem here because there are no authentic proof that shown they have settled a ticket purchasing in the email.Regular email without any purchasing receipt indeed will troubled a person in exchange it with the concert ticket.
On the other hand, the concert ticket was sold in a quite high price range between IDR.500,000 until IDR. 2,500,000. According to some sources, few times after the ticket sales was opened, the VIP A class was sold out.
Cassiopeia (JYJ’s Fans) were looking for clarification from DCI. But many of them complaint that DCI could not be reached. This situation has made the fans highly responding, as seen in Dreamcatcher Indonesia official Facebook page.
Vonny Jayalaksana wrote in Dreamcather Indonesia’s Facebook Page with a full caps lock which showed off her emotion.”WHEN WILL THE MONEY REFUNDED??!! DON’T STAY IN SILENT!!!! WE, JYJ’S FANS WHO HAD BOUGHT THE TICKETS HAVE BEEN FEEL LIKE BEING FRAUD BY DCI IF YOU KEPT YOURSELF IN SILENT!!!!PLEASE UPDATE ON HOW TO REFUND THE TICKET!!!IF YOU HAVE MADE MISTAKES DON’T STAY IN SILENT, QUICKLY MADE AN APOLOGY AND REFUND THE MONEY!! THANK YOU,”
“IF IT IS CANCELLED GIVE BACK OUR MONEY, GIVE CLARIFICATIONS, BE RESPONSIBLE AND ANSWER THE PHONE,,” wrote Mellisa Cassieas with angry tone.
–And today DCI finally post an official Press Release (http://wp.me/p1h0Eu-Ao)after being silent for hours and caused a stir since C-Jes also posted the clarification on Cancellation (http://wp.me/p1h0Eu-Au)–

Please Take Out With Full Credit, Thank You!
I let you know some details regarding to the cancellation of Indonesia concert.
As Cjes Entertainment(hereafter Cjes) announced previously, DCI, Indonesian promoter did not fulfill the article of the contract we made several times.
DCI kept missing the deposit payment dates and showed inexperienced attitude on process of preparing the concert. Cjes visited Indonesia trying to solve this problem with extra fee but Indonesian Promoter seemed not to be ready to organise the concert. Followingly, Cjes decided not to keep this which will be apparently finalised with mess.
Knowing how fans in Indonesia are in pain and sadness, JYJ feels hurt and wants to say sorry for you. Please do understand this incident for both JYJ and you guys, JYJ’s lovely fans.
Thank you for your concern and all your cares.

[PRESS RELEASE-ENG TRANS] DREAMCATCHER INDONESIA’S OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT ON JYJ CONCERT CANCELLATION
Responding to the statement published by C-JES Entertainment on their website on March 28th 2011 regarding the cancellation of JYJ Concert in Indonesia originally will be held in Sentul International Convention Center (SICC) on April 9th 2011, wuth a heavy heart, we the promoter announce that JYJ Concert in Indonesia is being cancelled based on the decision stated by C-JES Entertainment through their website.
In fact, we as the promoter have tried to give the best during the preparation time approximately 1 month. We have worked hard to fulfill everything needed in this concert, one of them is giving the ebst and exclusive venue. On last days towards the concert execution, C-JES Entertainment decided to cancelled the concert we have had planned.
This related to their request in production which cannot be fulfilled in Indonesia. our production team had also confirm about that. The extra fees requested in a sudden by C-JES Entertainment was very high and indeed those requests was not listed in the signed agreement. Therefore, we as the promoter have the rights to decline the request.
Other than production matters, basically the concert can be established well and with generosity, C-JES Entertainment could negotiate well and does not force an unreasonable request.
We, with humility, apologize to all JYJ fans in Indonesia who have had long awaits for this concert, that until now, because the agreement about production never happen well and considering the limited time, then we have choose to follow C-JES Entertainment’s decision who have had previously announced the cancellation of JYJ Indonesia Concert in their website.
To all ticket buyers who had settled the payment, the money will be fully returned. The ticket refund’s procedures will be further announced on Thursday March 31st 2011.

After the Round 1 (http://wp.me/p1h0Eu-z3) done. Here comes the 2nd Round! ^^
I’ve been getting great feedback with this whole Q&A thing. So without further ado, here is another round of questions about my experience as the JYJ MC for their US TOUR back in November 2010. Enjoy!
Q: @katsumeat asks: What was your first impression on jyj? whatis your favorite jyj songs from the showcase?
A: I was going over some things with the concert director when JYJ walked into the room. They were wearing black robe outfits and they didn’t walk, they glided into the room. My first thought was “Damn these guys are skinny…really skinny…and pretty…really pretty…and Junsu’s hair is red…really red” They were very polite, we said hello and they were off to do magazine interviews. I got to know them a little better as the tour went on. My favorite song from the showcase was the EMPTY remix. High energy, cool track, really got the crowd jumping up and down while confetti shot into the sky. Great ending song for the concert.
Q: @heartbeatheaven asks: Is it ever awkward to be around Jaejoong since he’s so attractive? (if I were a straight man I’d STILL be turned on…)
A: Very interesting question HAHA. No, there were never any awkward moments being around Jaejoong. Although there was this one time when I met Daniel Henney at an awards gala. For some reason his shirt tucked in but unbuttoned all the way down to his belt. We were talking about some stuff..and all I could think was “Damn, this guy is good looking…” Uh yeah…back to the questions.
Q: @randi_x asks: Were any of the members drunk/tip edge of tipsy? If so, what are they really like.
A: We went out in Vegas, and yes there was alcohol involved. Junsu didn’t drink much, so he didn’t get drunk. Jaejoong and Micky had a few drinks, or two, or three…and if they got drunk I couldn’t tell. So sorry, no drunken sloppy stories to share. Although I got drunk and started making out with a lamp JK
Q: Anonymous asks: Shane! 1st of all thanks for this Q&A session 🙂 Oh yea my question… Did JYJ ever talk about their fans when you guys were hanging out and what was it about?
A: They love their fans, but they do admit that sometimes it goes a little too far. Like the whole situation with fans waiting outside their houses, kinda scary. To my understanding the netizens of Korea can be scary. I heard everything that happened to Tablo from Epik High. That kind of stuff is the ugly side of fame that comes with the territory.
Q: niickerzz asks: LOL but how did Jaejoong smell like..? new fresh t-shirt? aha~
A: What the? He smelled like a Korean pop star, duh!
Q: Anonymous asks: Were you blown away by jyj’s performances?
A: Actually I was very impressed. It’s one thing to be a good singer, but to dance AND sing well at the same time is pretty hard. I actually attempted this at the LA showcase, and I couldn’t even perform 4 lines…the whole time I was thinking “Don’t fall off the lift…or YOU WILL DIE! Oh yeah I’m supposed to be singing…Girl I swear~” My singing was horrible, but at least I didn’t fall off the lift.
Q: Anonymous asks: How long as your umma(mom) been a fan of JYJ?
A: She claims that she only became a fan when she heard that I was going to be the MC for their tour, but she seemed to know everything about them. Especially Yoochun. So I’m a little suspicious about her being a new fan.
Q: @aliyah_taylor asks: How does JYJ feel about their American fans?
A: Like I said before, they love all their fans. And since it was their first time in America on tour, I think they were even more grateful for everyone who came out to the US Tour. For me personally, I was amazed at the diversity in the fans who showed up to the shows. Honestly I was expecting all their fans to be screaming Asian girls, but when I showed up in NY and saw that the screaming girls were from all races, that was cool.
Q: @UmaChanxo asks: What does JYJ think of Fanboys? Have you ever asked or met one? A good friend of mine is a fanboy ahahaha xD
A: Not sure what JYJ thinks of Fanboys specifically, but I’m sure they don’t mind since a fan is a fan, no matter if they’re a girl or a guy. I actually met a few Fanboys in New York. There was one guy in line who was an aspiring rapper, I made him freestyle about the concert and JYJ and he was pretty good! I feel like the guys who went to these showcases were pretty damn smart. Think about it…you go to this concert with 1000s of other girls who are essentially in “heat” for JYJ. After the show, they’re pumped up, obviously they want more JYJ but can’t have it, they turn around and there you are – single guy, fan of JYJ, and looking for love. Brilliant!
Q: @remonbrossom asks: I know you want to join JYJ! don’t lie! could be like “JYJ’S” ..LOL xD..but really, would you join if they asked you to? =P
A: I’m not gonna lie, in my younger days I would have loved to have been a part of a K-pop group. I’m more of a rapper than a singer, so I would probably fit great with JYJ. But at the end of the day I don’t think I would be handle the extreme image consciousness that Korean entertainers need to possess. If I was a part of JYJS, I don’t think I would be able to make a video like “D*** So Big” And I don’t know if I want to be a part of something that doesn’t let me fulfill my crazy ideas as an entertainer.
Q: @minnamoi asks: Thanks for answering those interesting questions 🙂 i know MANY fans wanna know this one. did they mention Yunho or Changmin??
A: Sorry, they didn’t mention them at all to me. To my understanding the whole situation was a little sensitive to them, so I didn’t bother bringing it up. It seems like an unfortunate thing and I hope there is some resolve, at least for the sake of their friendships.
Q: @mellejk asks: Th more I read JYJ’s tweets th more it sinks in tht they’r normal guys just doin ther job. Is tht bad? Stil wana meet thm tho lol
A: First of all, you must be a professional tweeter. Look at those abbreviations to save characters! I would have never thought to shorten the word “the” to “th” This is what the constraint of 140 characters has done to our society HAHA. But going back to your question – Yes JYJ are pretty normal guys placed in an extraordinary situation. Again, from my brief time with them, I saw that they were very grounded hard working guys. Nothing really stuck up or arrogant about them. You should definitely still try to meet them…but please don’t wait outside their homes.
Q: Anonymous asks: Hi Shane! You were great MC for the JYJ concert! I liked the furry vest in LA. ^_^ Does Junsu really hum and sing all the time, regardless of where he is? And…you didn’t teach him any bad words, did you? keke
A: Yes, I noticed Junsu does love to hum and sing a lot. It’s like have a live version of the radio wherever we went. It was nice HAHA. I did give him one brief English lesson in Vegas. He asked me about the proper way to use the word “Yet.”
Junsu – Hyung, what’s the proper way to use “yet”
Shane – Oh it’s really easy. You use “yet” when you say you didn’t do something but you plan on doing it.
Junsu – ???
Shane – Like, “I didn’t shower, yet” Essentially that means you didn’t shower, but you plan on doing it some point.
Junsu – Oh, I got it. What about when you start the sentence with “yet”
Shane – Like “Yet, he was only a child?”
Junsu – Yeah.
Shane – ??? My head hurts
Junsu – Oh…
Yeah, I’m a bad English teacher…and “yet” is a trick word to describe. But no, I didn’t teach them any bad words.
Q: mlyc asks: How was backstage before the first New York showcase? What did you guys do afterwards? Thanks Shane.
A: Being backstage before the NY show was nuts! We could hear the fans chanting, singing, and screaming. It was funny because every time the lights slightly changed or the music track changed, the crowd would go extra nuts thinking the show was about to start. Sorry, for the multiple fake outs, I think it’s a subliminal trick concert directors use to keep the energy alive. Honestly I was a little nervous, but once I got out on the stage and saw the madness, it actually made me feel more at ease. Afterwards, JYJ went to their rooms to rest and some of the crew went to grab a beer at a bar. Nothing crazy, since we had to leave for Vegas early the next day.
Q: @BuNiu asks: Have you DM’ed on twit with any of the members before? and will you check out their world con in la/sf/nyc when they come? :p
A: HAHA Yes, I have DM’d with Jaejoong a couple times. If they come to LA and I’m free that day I probably will check out the show to support them. They’re really good performers and it might be a little nostalgic to watch the show. Although I might get tempted to crash the stage and start MCing… I kid, I kid.
All right so that’s the end of ROUND 2. A lot of the questions I have been getting have been similar to each other, so unless I get a set of really interesting questions there probably won’t be a ROUND 3. But knowing you JYJ fans, I’m sure you’ll send enough questions to make a ROUND 3. So make it happen! Thank you guys for your continual support, I really appreciate it.
