[NEWS] JYJ Main Models for Campaign for Identity Protection To Be Promoted Heavily Online & Offline

The Korea Communication Commission and the Korea Internet & Security Agency revealed on the 31st that in order to strengthen the individual user’s capability to protect his personal information at the wake of repeated draining and (unintended) exposure of personal information on the internet it will launch for the month of September the “2011 Protecting Personal Identity Information Campaign” and will hold from the 25th to the 30th “Concentrated Duration to Change Passwords.”

On this campaign, all of the major corporations of internet businesses including from the industries of communication, portals, media, shopping malls, finance, medicine, education, and social commerce have participated jointly. The campaign will have as its main contents the changing of passwords, the organization of accounts, and the switch to I-PIN which can be used in lieu of one’s social security number on the web.

This campaign which will take place with JYJ as the main model plan to promote with concentration on a variety of online and offline routes, such as TV, radio, subway, bus, theater, various advertisements and posters through social network services, and campus clubs for information protection of colleges from all over the country.

An affiliate from the Korea Communication Commission said: “We anticipate that a culture in which the user himself can grow his own capabilities to protect his personal information to prevent the damage from the draining and misuse of personal information.”

[NEWS] Kim Jaejoong and “Boss” Crews gave a big smile at the support visit of Park Yoochun and Kim Junsu

Kim Jaejoong of the new SBS Wed-Thursday drama Protect the Boss gave a big smile at the support visit of Park Yoochun and Kim Junsu.

On the filming of Protect the Boss that took place on August 30, Kim Jaejoong was very surprised by the visit of Kim Junsu and Park Yoochun who are also JYJ members. Further, Kim Jaejoong who learned that the two had prepared a high-end buffet enough to feed 50 persons for the production crew and the cast welcomed them with a broad smile.

Park Yoochun who has already gathered much popularity through the period piece Sungkyunkwan Scandal, and Kim Junsu who had made a cameo appearance recently on the SBS drama Scent of a Woman to show off acting and singing did not spare praises for Kim Jaejoong: “I can feel that you have great team dynamics with the other members of the cast. Kim Hakyun, who is playing the role of Secretary Jang in the drama, could not hide his gladness at seeing Park Yoochun with whom he had acted before and even took a proof-photo to earn the envy of the staff. Cha Hwayeon also had a meal with Kim Jaejoong who is playing her son and Park Yoochun and Kim Junsu and shared a conversation.

Choi Kanghee even relayed her thanks to Park Yoochun and Kim Junsu in the meal time that took place subsequently with the two.

Sohn Junghyun PD also relayed his thanks to their visit and suggested to Park Yoochun “you can appear in our drama as a cameo right?” to continue on the warm atmosphere.

[INFO] Soma City Official Homepage Posts Radiation Detectors Donated from JYJ Charity Concert Proceeds

The Board of Education has at this time received the donation of 500 radiation detectors from ZAK Corporation.

The radiation detectors were donated from the proceeds of JYJ’s charity concert. They are planned to be distributed to the elementary and middle school students and pre-school children of Tamano District.

[NEWS] KBS To Air the Closing Ceremony of Daegu Championship In Which JYJ Appears! ~ Yayyyy!!! ^^

As KBS has decided to air the Closing Ceremony of the 2011 Daegu World Track and Field Championship, it is forecasted that a performance by the group JYJ, difficult to be seen on broadcast, would be seen (by the public).

KBS Sports Department Head Park Youngmun revealed on the afternoon of the 30th to Star News: “On 9:10pm on September 4th, we plan to air the Closing Ceremony for one hour, including the 400m Men and Women Relay Awards Ceremony.”

The reason that this Closing Ceremony is gathering attention is that JYJ has been chosen as its Performer for the Post-Meal Event. JYJ will rise to the stage of the Closing Ceremony with DJ Koo and such persons.

JYJ had few chances to appear on a broadcast stage. Recently JYJ attempted to hold a celebratory performance as honorary ambassadors for the “Challenge! New 7 Wonders, This is Jeju” which was broadcasted by KBS. However it foundered.

On the other hand, the Closing Ceremony will be 1 hour, including the Pre-Meal, Post-Meal and the Official Events.

[FEATURE STORY+VIDEO] Pop band JYJ and UNAIDS make social media campaign “Love Always” a #1 hit

Newly appointed UNAIDS Regional Goodwill Ambassadors, Korean pop band JYJ joined UNAIDS to launch a social media campaign, that has taken the Twitter world by storm.

Inspired by JYJ hit song lyrics, the “LoveAlways” campaign encouraged fans to download a specially designed Twibbon heart icon to their Twitter profile, and to tweet messages to break down HIV-related sigma and discrimination such as: “Be the one—stop HIV discrimination with JYJ and UNAIDS. Show you LoveAlways.”

The campaign ran from 26-30 August 2011, coinciding with the 10th International Congress on AIDS in Asia and the Pacific which was held in Busan, Republic of Korea and where JYJ were officially announced as UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassadors on the opening day.

At the launch of the campaign, the three members of JYJ—Jae joong, Yoochan and Jun su—all tweeted messages to their personal Twitter accounts, grabbing the interest of their collective 1.4 million followers on Twitter.

In the six days of the campaign, more than 32 500 fans showed their support via the Twibbon application; followers of the UNAIDS Twitter account nearly doubled.

So rapidly successful was the campaign that the Twibbon site itself both tweeted and posted on Facebook that the LoveAlways campaign was one of their “fastest-ever growing campaigns.” This message went out to some 1.1 million people on Facebook and Twitter, and LoveAlways has been featured on the Twibbon site since.

“The impact of this campaign with JYJ’s involvement has been just amazing,” said Steve Kraus, Director of the UNAIDS Regional Support Team for Asia and Pacific. “The reach JYJ have is extremely important in supporting our global goals of ending stigma and discrimination and we are delighted to have JYJ as our Goodwill Ambassadors for the region.”

The LoveAlways campaign has seen JYJ fans being creative and motivated through their tweets and messages. Many have pledged solid support to JYJ and UNAIDS to help eliminate HIV-related stigma and discrimination and encourage other young people to be more aware about HIV.

JYJ underlined their appreciation for their fan’s commitment: “We want to thank our fans for their great support for this campaign—they are showing that they LoveAlways and are ready to stop HIV discrimination. Their action makes us proud,” said band member Jae joong. “We hope our fans will continue to support us as we work on important AIDS issues with UNAIDS. This is a great start to our work and we are looking forward to more activities where we can speak out about AIDS,” he added.

On August 29th, JYJ’s official homepage unveiled a personal video message from JYJ under the title, “From JYJ in Busan”.

During the five-minute video, JYJ stated, “We were recently appointed as UNAIDS’ ambassadors and came down to Busan to perform.”

Junsu added, “We’re really pleased to meet you all again as JYJ after such a long time, and we’ll work harder to show a great image.”

“To our fans, we’re always thankful and love you, and we wish you to be with us, together,” said Yoochun and Jaejoong.

Meanwhile, JYJ are scheduled to perform at the closing ceremonies for the “2011 Daegu World Athletics Championships” on September 4th.
