To be a tour guide on a castle brings unexpected surprises or encounters with fans from all over the world

Dobříš – I was convinced several times about the fact that work as a tour guide on the castle brings unexpected moments of surprise. After the experience that happened to me on August 5, I was still recovering for a few hours after leaving from work.
On Thursday night I fell asleep with a feeling of abdominal pain and fear of tour in English on castle Dobříš. If I knew in advance what awaits for the next day, I wouldn’t have even opened the tour text in English at all.
At 2 PM I opened the doors of Dobříš castle with shaking knees and specially prepared English welcome and on top of that with entirely learned text of the castle exposition in English. I wished the tour was over soon!
When I saw the picture that greeted me, I could not believe my own eyes. A group of seventeen girls around my age started chanting, clapping and squealing. All of them had in hand or on the bag tied red balloons. At first glance it was obvious that I have the honor of inhabitants from a different parts of the world.
Before I could catch my breath, the leader of the group Anna Dynterová handed me a hand. She told me that I have fan club of Korean music group TVXQ or DBSK is in front of me. “The name of our unofficial fan club is Phoenix. Fans are recognized by the fan club’s red color, so we also have these red balloons and red banner with white writing”, she said. “We organized a four-day meeting in the Czech Republic, which took place August 3 to 7. The reason was not only the sharing of our feelings, which gives us this group, but during these days we also visited places in the Czech Republic visited by the band during the shoot of Prague Prince photoalbum, the cover of “O” Jung.Ban.Hap CD and also the filming spots of the music video for the song “O”-Jung. Ban.Hap, “said Anna Dynterová.
I was immediately clear that I can stop worrying about the entire English tour. When I tried to familiarize girls with a history of the Dobříš castle and tell them the fates of Colloredo-Mansfeld’s family members, I found that they were not that interested. The girls just ran with verve from one place to another, and photographed in the same positions in which their idols from the Korean music group were photographing several years ago. My guide functions involved carrying cameras and flashing them almost every meter. I have never seen in my life such enthusiasm and ignition in an activity… I have to admit (in a good way) that I didnt understand and I just watched the events in the castle and in a French garden with an open mouth. My biggest surprise came in the Hall of Mirrors, where the girls grouped around the piano, the leader sat directly to the piano, and all began to sing a song from their idols. The fact that we filmed this performances on three cameras, perhaps doesn’t even have to be mentioned. Honestly I must say that I was fascinated and from that moment I’ve only literally stared in disbelief. The atmosphere that Hall was carrying and the enthusiasm of all seventeen heartful fans were stunning. I am very glad that I met with these girls and wish them that their enthusiasm would never stop. There is nothing better than to naturally enjoy own hobbies and interests.
“Phoenix fan club has red color as well as the official fan club of Korean group DBSK Cassiopeia. Its name was given by the mythical Phoenix bird, which died in the flames, and rised again from the ashes. It reminds us of the song “Rising Sun” and “Shine” that DBSK sing. It was built according to Greek mythology, and thus a European fan club. Phoenix mythical bird is immortal so is the fan club’s support for group DBSK”, says its founder Elina Tsolakidou.
“Phoenix was founded 20th May 2008 in Germany. It currently has around five hundred official members from all over Europe. Fanclub supports all five members of the Korean band DBSK and hopes to meet them singing together again on the stage. The community lives mainly on the Internet because the information in native language are not possbile to be found. August meeting attended fans from Denmark, Netherlands, China, Poland, Germany, Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic. When walking around Prague, we also managed to meet some Korean people who have recognized us immediately and knew what we were in a blink of an eye. It was a strange feeling, because we finally experienced something what we only read about in English and Asian fans are able to experience every day.
Thanks to the kind people we met in Prague and at Dobris castle, we managed to prove one of the sentences, which said about the Czechs one of the members U-Know Yunho: “People Seems more social and nice here …” I’m really proud of Czechs that helped us, because without them I would never be able to show Bohemian beauty”, said lead guide of the four-day August meeting Miss Anna Dynterová.
